Jesper Tydén (born August 9, 1975) is a stage actor and singer from Stockholm, Sweden.

Biography

Jesper Tydén was born in Stockholm in 1975. He received his musical training at the theater and opera school in Gothenburg. During his singing studies at the Royal Conservatory of Music, Jesper was hired by Eric Ericsson Chamber Choir and performed in the Swedish Radio Chorus. In May 2005 he released a single "Let it ride"& "How could I". In 2006, he founded The Drunken Sailors, a rock band, with Henrik Westerberg.

During Summer 2010, Jesper played the role Toby in the German language tour of Sweeney Todd. During August 2010, Jesper performed alongside other European theater artists in the Best of Musical Gala tour.[1]

In October 2010, Jesper will reprise his role as Tutanchamun in the Cairo/Alexandria revival.[2]
